Calendar information handled by the app on your device

CloudBridge Calendar reads the iCloud calendar you select and copies events to the Google Calendar you select. It does not change the iCloud calendar. You can review a manual sync before applying it. If you turn on automatic sync, the app can later create, update or delete events it manages in the selected Google Calendar in the background under its sync rules.

The app connects directly from your Android device to Apple's iCloud service and Google's authorization and Calendar services. There is no CloudBridge sync server or CloudBridge account. Steve does not receive or remotely inspect your calendar events through CloudBridge.

What the app reads and keeps

For iCloud, you enter an Apple Account identifier and an Apple app-specific password. The app obtains a calendar list and reads events in the calendar you choose. Event data can include titles, notes, locations, dates and times, time zones, recurrence, identifiers and details about other people. For Google, you choose an account, authorize access to list calendars and read and manage events, and choose a destination calendar. CloudBridge reads Google calendar and event information needed for comparison and safe changes. It may inspect whether a Google event has attendees to avoid unsafe updates.

The app keeps connection choices, the selected Google account address, calendar names and identifiers, sync settings, event links and technical identifiers, change information, run history and diagnostic records in app-private storage on your device. Its sync database is not intended to hold a general full-content copy of event titles, notes or locations. Some local identifiers, names, errors or diagnostics may still be personal information. CloudBridge separately encrypts the saved Apple identifier and app-specific password with an Android Keystore-backed key; it does not apply that same separate encryption to every local database field.

Calendar access is needed for sync. You can open the app without connecting both services, but it cannot synchronize without the selected connections. Sending Steve a support email or diagnostic report is optional.

What leaves the device

CloudBridge uses your Apple identifier and app-specific password over an encrypted connection to access iCloud. Use an app-specific password, not your main Apple Account password; you can revoke it in your Apple Account. Google handles authorization through its Android authorization service. CloudBridge requests access to list Google calendars and read and manage events. It uses access tokens for Google requests and does not intentionally save them in its own database or settings. You can revoke authorization in your Google Account.

When a sync creates or updates a Google event, the app sends relevant event details from your device to Google's Calendar service over an encrypted connection. It sends technical matching markers with managed Google events so later runs can recognize them. It reads Google responses and may delete previously managed destination events under its sync rules. Google keeps synchronized events according to its settings and policies. Apple and Google also receive connection and network information needed for their services, such as request timing and your device's IP address. Diagnostics, choices and deletion

CloudBridge keeps local information about sync outcomes, timing, counts, connection and error states, and some device or network conditions. It does not automatically upload diagnostic reports to Steve. You may copy a filtered report to the Android clipboard or send it through the share sheet. Review it before sharing; it is not guaranteed anonymous. The clipboard and any app you choose to share with handle information under their own practices.

You can stop future sync or clear connections in the app. Clearing iCloud credentials removes saved credentials, the selected iCloud calendar and sync cursor. Disconnecting Google clears the app's selected Google connection; it does not itself revoke Google authorization or delete events already at Google. These actions do not necessarily erase every local mapping, history or diagnostic record. Some history is limited, but there is no general time-based expiry for all local records. Android's Clear storage control or uninstalling normally removes local app data; this does not delete data held by Apple or Google or revoke every service grant. Existing Google events must be managed in Google Calendar. A later authorized sync may also change managed Google events under the app's rules.

CloudBridge is configured to disable Android app backup and exclude app data from its declared cloud backup and device transfer rules. This does not cover information held by Apple or Google or reports you choose to share.

Other app practices

The current app has no advertising or publisher analytics/tracking SDK, no automatic publisher crash-report upload, and no sale of Google user data. It does not use calendar content for advertising or profiling. Local sync decisions can change destination events, but the app does not make solely automated decisions about people with legal or similarly significant effects. CloudBridge is a general calendar utility, not designed specifically for children, and does not request an age. If obtained through Google Play, Google handles distribution and payment under its own practices; the app does not receive payment card details. Information Google makes available to Steve in a publisher account is assessed separately from calendar sync.

Information you send to Steve

If you email steve@projelle.com, Steve receives your address, message and anything you attach or paste. This may include a diagnostic report or calendar detail if you choose to send it. Please avoid passwords and unnecessary event content. Your email provider and Steve's Microsoft 365 mailbox, supplied through GoDaddy, handle the message too. Steve uses it to respond to, investigate and resolve your request. His ordinary legal basis is legitimate interest (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in answering a voluntary enquiry. Where handling an existing customer's request is genuinely necessary to perform a contract, Article 6(1)(b) may instead apply. Emailing him is not consent to unrelated uses.

For a UK GDPR privacy-rights request, Steve uses information necessary to identify, assess and respond under Article 6(1)(c), legal obligation, where the relevant duty applies. He may need limited additional information to verify a request. Steve is controller for information he actually receives in these communications.

Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and resolve the request and reasonable follow-up, unless longer retention is required for legal claims or a legal obligation. Information sent to another share target follows that target's practices. Steve does not receive a report merely because you generate or copy it locally.

Your rights and complaints

For personal information Steve actually holds, you may have rights to be informed, access it, correct it, erase it, restrict its use and, where applicable, receive it in a portable form. Where he relies on legitimate interests, you can object; he will assess the objection and stop that use unless a lawful reason permits it to continue. Contact steve@projelle.com. For calendar content held by Apple or Google, use their controls and privacy contacts. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Other countries and this website

Apple and Google may process information in other countries under their own practices. Calendar sync connects your device directly to those services; Steve does not receive event content through CloudBridge. Support email handled by Microsoft 365 supplied through GoDaddy may involve processing or access outside the UK. The exact mailbox location and applicable provider arrangements depend on the account configuration. Where a restricted transfer requires safeguards, the providers' published terms describe mechanisms including contractual transfer clauses and, where applicable, adequacy arrangements. These CloudBridge pages use no site accounts, support form, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, marketing cookies, remote fonts or embedded third-party content in the published page source. The website host may receive connection information such as your IP address and request details and keep access or security logs; actual logging, retention and transfer settings depend on the live hosting configuration.

Changes

Steve may update this policy if CloudBridge or his information practices change. The current text and effective date will be shown at this published policy address. Material new uses of Google user data will be disclosed before they begin, with any additional Google authorization required.
